random thoughts

i think it is no secret now that i have tendered the resignation and moving on to join a private organization just like how i had written in my previous post. i have received a few feedbacks from friends who left me personal messages in FB inbox as well as SMS and MSNs, enquiring on my departure. At a time when our economy is rather down (but hopefully is picking up), being offered a new job is like a bonus..

Here, I'd like to reiterate that by me moving on does not mean that I have ongoing problems at the current organization. I am blessed that throughout my 2.5yrs here, I have great colleagues who some, share lots of interests with me and I'm glad that we have formed this bonding even outside office hours =) this is something that i will cherish & treasure for the rest of my life. Me moving on is due to personal preference. I have always nagged and complained to my Hub that I am sick of travelling so far, interchanging trains at Outram Park etc (and to add if i may, the UGLY Singaporeans that I encounter with almost everyday) in the trains whatsoever, that I pine for a job, any job, that I do not have to spend at least 1.5hrs everyday on commuting to and fro. So, when this offer comes, I couldn't resist. Not only it's a 1 bus ride away, at most 1hr, at least 45mins, depending on the traffic, it's also an environment where I have become accustomed with and to top it all, a better pay. Tell me, which human being will deny an offer that is of a higher pay? =)

Lesser travelling time = less fare on transportation = more time with family..

I thank you for the concerns but I did take some time before making a decision. None other is more important than the support from my immediate family.. and thank God! I have that.

I have around 12 days to spend with my family before embarking on the new journey, and I'm really looking forward to it.. =))
