It's CRAZY

For these few days before Daniyal's birthday party, you will actually hear my frustrations and my forever rantings plus my nerve-wrecking brains who are working overtime just to satisfy my only son whom I hope, will eventually have a memorable 3rd birthday.. and most importantly, this is his FIRST birthday celebration with all.. but little did i know that i will face the most difficult problem.. that is.. the catering.. :((

yeah, so Mom initially wanted to cook and then now she told me (sincerely and honestly) that there's no way she can cook alone for that 'many people'.. of course we understand her predicament.. not only will she be super busy.. she will be very tired that she won't get to enjoy her only grandson's party and also just imagine 'the so-many guests' who will come will taste her cooking and god knows whether they like it or not.. so she feels pressured.. (and we understand that too) so after much thought we came to a conclusion that we WILL get a caterer.. ONLY if the price is RIGHT.. and Mom agreed.. :))

The thought of a GRAND party has never ever crossed our minds before. Let me reiterate: That we do this ONLY and SOLELY because Daniyal had never had a proper birthday celebration before.. When he turned 1.. sadly to say, it was a last minute decision and the preparation was, I must say, Unprepared.. it was a good thing that he was only 1 year old so he understood NOTHING.. even if he felt sad, he of course, couldn't show it, right? However, it's different now.. He's turning 3 and knows what birthday is all about.. The sight of him standing in front of the candle and the cake at every birthday party that we were invited, wrecked my HEART..!! and so, the decision was to do an enjoyable birthday for Him.. and the theme SOCCER was also chosen by him who IS an ardent fan of SOCCER.. I guess, it's every kids dream to at least celebrate it ONCE when they are 1-5 years of age..

So please, whoever you are out there... please don't turn Daniyal's birthday into a business opportunity for you.. Does it matter to you who pays for all the expenses?! Knowing that we can afford, doesn't mean YOU can take advantage of us.. please.. All I want is a happy celebration, I don't want DUE to this, you 'kecil hati' or etc just because we can't or we didn't choose you to provide the food for us.. I have never asked anyone (except Mom) to cook or to provide anything for Daniyal's birthday.. But, if you wanna do it voluntarily, sincerely without charging us.. All we can say is, Kecik tapak tangan, Nyiru kita tadahkan.. :)) So, please... Daniyal's not a celebrity who are in need of a sponsors for his birthday.. selagi hayat dikandung badan, biarlah mak bapak dia sendiri yg usahakan.. :) It is after all, a 3 year old boy's birthday celebration... We don't need 'over-the-top' kinda food spread... Simplicity is ME!

I really don't understand the BIG hoo-haaa.. Really pity Mom.. Hang in there, Mom!! We'll do what's BEST for us.. :))
