A BIG HeadAche

Geez, planning Daniyal's 3rd Birthday party is a real headache.. furthermore the venue is held at changi beach.. that means, i don't have any idea how to hang those banners and HAPPY BIRTHDAY signs that ppl always use, right?? Aargh! Help me! You know those party shops at Concourse? 3 of them moved to Bugis.. and we managed to find them like, finally!!! Hip Hip Hooray!!!!! When i stepped into the shop, I wished, I'm planning a party for a girl instead because there are sooooo may cute cute things in PINK that i can think of for a girl's birthday.. Nevertheless, I went around the shop like 5 rounds before I finally found what I have always wanted.. I havent bought a PINATA yet.. I don't know if we need it.. Where to hang it? Will Daniyal have enough energy to actually hit it?? It costs $25/-.. so I had to say.. Hold on!!! There are other things that are more important... like... THE GOODIE BAGS and the FILLERS... Hahahaha... :P



So.. we bought the goodie bag, the table covers, fillers, snacks and chocolates for the treat bags.. most importantly, it is in line with Daniyal's birthday theme of SOCCER FUN.. even the blowouts have got balls on it... Oooo.. I'm sooo into it that I managed to coax Hub to buy it for Daniyal's party.. haha.. We spent like.. hm.. $100++.. but its all worth it lah.. All I want is for Daniyal to enjoy his birthday with other kids.. I bought balloons too.. Someone will have to volunteer to blow them for me... 100 pieces altogether.. hahaha.. Hope tat 'someone' won't end up in hospital after that..



I badly wanna get the banners and the posters... but i have to make a trip down to the venue again and picture how I'm gonna hang it... :)) Hope it won't rain..



Then.. hm.. the guestlist.. Told Hub tat after the list is completed.. both of our family members are 3/4 of the guests listed.. That manyyyy?? Yeah.. What can I say? Our families are HUGE! My mom saw the list and she freaked out.... How am I gonna cook for that many ppl??? Haha.. another headache.. However, since simplicity is my choice, I'm gonna go for a simple but wide spread of food.. Hopefully, the dishes won't tire mum out.. :)



I have a special request from a special someone: WHO? My dad lah! looks like he is even more excited than Daniyal.. that he bought him a SUIT.. yeah, a birthday suit!! When he discovered that the venue will be in Changi, he gasped! How is Daniyal gonna wear the suit that he bought him?? Don't worry, Dad!! We'll think of something... Won't let that effort of yours go unnoticed.. We appreciate whatever that you have done for your only grandson.. :)



Sigh.. It's like another 3 weeks from today but I'm getting the jitters already.. Hub said I behave like as though our son is getting married.. Hahahaha.. When that day comes.. I think I'm gonna be more paranoid than now.. This is, NOTHING! Lalalalalaaaaaa...



Tomorrow's YOUTH DAY.. HAPPY YOUTH DAY to alllllllllll the YOUTHS out there.. (including me) LOL!!!!
