i'll skip on my 3rd day of Jakarta for the time being ok? For now let me just share an information I received yesterday.

Looking for a retreat? But with tight budget? Look no further.. highly recommended island just 45mins away from sunny island Singapore!

Where? Batam lor.. LOL! But seriously, I've been to Batam like countless times already but I've not been to Turi Beach Resort @ Nongsapura. I had planned to got there before but I read some bad reviews abt the resort, I contemplated. So, after the bombings in Jakarta while we were there.. and didnt really got the relaxation we wanted, Hub suggested why not we returned to Bintan? I have no qualms abt Bintan cos they give good rates for airline staff but, i prefer Turi Beach MORE. Not only because it's cheaper, but I guess, it's more nature, in a way.. so I told Hub abt this and he quickly made a call to Turi Beach Resort..

Price quoted:

For Tirta Wing (a boutique style room (PREMIER), and obviously the most recent upgraded room) promotion is at $188 nett per room including breakfast and transfers to and from hotel for 2 adults.

I'd prefer Riani Wing tho'.. well, talk abt going for Nature mah.. so must stay in a kampong hut kinda room lor.. promotion is at $116 (Superior Room) including breakfast and transfers to and from hotel for 2 adults.

For Deluxe Room, promotion is at $140 including breakfast and transfers to and from hotel for 2 adults.

Cheap? No..?? I think it's just a right budget for 1 night getaway.. and of course, the cost is not including the ferry lah.. which costs ard $36 for 2 ways trip from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

Don't say I never share good deals around eh.. =)
