On Wednesday afternoon, I was told of Daniyal's suspicion of HFMD (every parents' nightmare) and immediately sought Mom's assistance to fetch him from school. Neither me nor Hub could get away from work and lucky me, Mom was there everytime I need her.. Guess I'm blessed! Although I was skeptical about Daniyal getting the HFMD, I had no choice but to relent however, my suspicions were confirmed (abt Daniyal NOT having that HFMD) when I reached home and turned my room was topsy-turvy.. and Daniyal was crying NOT because he was sick BUT because I reached home and caught him in the act of turning my room into a mini Zoo.. with the pillows acting as Zebras and Elephants and what-have-yous.. Gosh! I got very MAD but still maintained my composure and checked him thoroughly for any signs of HFMD that his teacher claimed. Except for 1 tiny ulcer underneath his tongue, I found nothing else and his temperature was also moderate but at the same time I panicked because Daniyal was still crying and after I calmed him down then only he relayed the whole incident in school.. In between sobs, he told me what had happened and I was trying very hard to figure out that 'incident' and after about 10 minutes of trying to gather the information, I finally concluded that what he told was, he had wanted to go back to his class but his teacher refused to allow him and instead, isolated him from his friends and that, made him sad. Gosh! Nevertheless, we brought him to the doctor and hey presto! it's confirmed that is was a False alarm.. No HFMD.. nothing!! :)

Dear Daniyal,
You know how 'paranoid' your mom is whenever you're sick and you know how many sleepless nights I had whenever you're sick. You're a BIG BOY now and I do hope after all the hygiene lessons that your granny and I taught you, you'd better take extra care of yourself. You know your 'mummy' aka "Kak Shima" said that you should learn proper hygiene, I didnt tell her that we already taught you.. because she simply wouldn't understand.. and no matter how much at times I tried to explain to your 'mummy'.. she still wouldn't or couldn't understand. Everytime you're sick and your mummy heard of it, she would claimed "Huh? Sakit lagi? Aiyoooh".. Tsk.. tsk.. We all LOVE you soooo much that whenever you're SICK, it's not just my HEART but many HEARTS will be broken! and please, the next thing that you should learn is, NOT TO TURN MY "RED" Room into a Mini Zoo. You know how much trouble I went through to finally convinced your Papa to let me paint the room in RED? I wanted sooo much to create a ROMANTIC atmosphere for the room with candles and such (LOL!) and you had to spoil it by creating it into a Zoo?? If my room is a Zoo, then who are the monkeys and elephants? I hope you don't have the answers for these questions. LOL!
Yours truly, Mama..
Bullshit kan? Macam lah Daniyal can read.. but this was what I felt or thought lah at that point of time.. but I can't say all these to Daniyal, right? Even if I did, the most he would do was just to nod his head.. :P
Today's Friday... and I sooo cant wait for the Day to END.. tomorrow is a party day for a great friend, Siska.. who'll be signing her life away in April.. Tomorrow's Bachelorette party is gonna be a bash!!! I can't wait to meet all of them... but before that, I have to slog hard tonight for the cheesecakes... hur hur hur..
