GENTING 2008

We went to Genting yesterday, 13 Dec 08. There are various ways where we can reach Genting. Initially we planned to catch a bus to Genting Skyway from KL Sentral and make our way up to Genting using the cable skyway. However, the KL Monorail ticket attendant informed us that we can make our way to Titiwangsa station and catch a Genting bus that will bring us up all the way to Genting. Since that was a better idea, we went ahead with it.

The cost of the bus ride to Genting? RM6.60 for 1 Adult and Rm3.30 for 1 Child and it takes approximately 1hour frm Titiwangsa to get to the top of Genting. This again, depends on the traffic of the day.

The bus ride up... occassionally the bus driver had to slow down because the turns are sharp.. In fact, the only time he drove slowly was when there were turns... if not, the ride was almost similar to the 'horrendous' taxi ride from KLIA.

We didn't take many rides because the queue was oh-so-long so we ended on childrens' rides most of the time.. Daniyal loves those rides a lot but refused to try those that appeared a bit thrilling for kids.. exactly like the father, i must say... Everytime i egged Hub to try those thrilling rides he would say.. I'm OLD alread for that kinds thrill.. yeah, right! Daniyal too refused to allow me on some rides.. and kept on holding to my hands.. I needed to ask him for permission before I was able to take some rides... annoying but cute because he's sooo overprotective over me now. LOL

The weather in Genting was cooling... very windy and very foggy tooo... The mist was very thick.. How thick?? See pics below... as we descended from Genting.. this time via Genting Skyway cable car..


I wish I have the energy to write about my 'shopping' today, the horrendous taxi ride, the nightmare rides on KL's PUTRA LRT and KL Monorail.. but I need to retire now... very very sleepy you know! I will write again soon.. Right now, I will need to clear some stuffs cos my room is in a total MESS.. and hey! I did foot reflexology.... aaarh!! the pain is so so unbearable... I should have settled for a less torture fish spa like my sis did.. hee hee... but hey, at RM20 for 30mins.. who cares!!
