of Dhasedyl & Zyrtec

and a few of other medicines.. well, I was on medical leave for 2 days since yesterday.. and was feeling a lot awwful.. been coughing up phlegms non stop and the throat ached badly. Lost my voice for a while yesterday but now I am slowly recovering it.. although it does crack up.. but it still feels better than yesterday.. i have been taking the medicines religiously.. and that surprised me too... i am known to be scared of big pills.. but i know i have to get well before it gets on to Daniyal.. something which I rather avoid.. :P

whats cooking today..?? hm.. its my fav broccoli soup and sambal telor.. hv to avoid sambal for now so thats not for me.. :) and I'm definitely not eating rice.. and have not touched them for the past week.. ;D

This December getaway plans really went haywire.. finally, Hub has settled his leave 'hiccups' and we will be going to...... BALI.. again! Why again? Well, this will be my third time there.. but the first for Daniyal.. What can I say?! Bali never dissapoints me.. Each time I visit Bali, I came back with fond memories.. The last time I visited Bali in 2004 for 6days 5nights, I came back feeling soo relaxed and sooo 'tanned'.. hehe.. This time, probably i won't get to relax that much with Daniyal around... but I did tell Hub that I wanna squeeze 3hrs of Spa, all by myself, while he entertains Daniyal.. I sure hope I get to do this... :)

Bali was not our first choice.. it was Tokyo initially but due to Hub's leave hiccups and flights availability, we decided to forgo it. Then, we thought of the Maldives since we have not been there before and wanted to experience the lovely resorts.. but we called and emailed almost every resorts there, Bandos included, and they were all fully booked.. well, it's their peak season, no wonder lah... Maldives or Male in short, is a divers' paradise.. and if you're thinking of making a trip to this wonderful island, make sure you do plan months or even a year ahead.. it is after all, a honeymooners choice.. and they are very popular with Europeans.. Food? No problem because its main religion is Islam.

So since we're feeling resort-y and also taking advantage of the Indonesian weak currency at the moment, we decided on Bali... and the next agenda was to find a suitable family resort which is within our budget... (Don't forget we have Daniyal now...)

As usual, Hub opted for Hard Rock Hotel (HRH) which I was so so against it. Why? Because our 2 previous visits to Bali we stayed there.. and I wanted something different.. so I proposed Bali Dynasty Resort.. not only they are near the beach, they also have a Kids Club.. and I'm sure that'll appeal to Daniyal.. ;D and with the rate of 67USD for a pool view room with breakfast included, that is sure a bargain compared to HRH of USD110... for a standard room.. so, hotel.. settled!! (unless Hub changed his mind and itching for another resort)

Next will the itinerary... which I havent thought of.. Maybe I should just put shopping and spa, relaxing by the pool and beach in the itinerary.. LOL!! That way, I wouldn't need to think soo much.. but Hub already mentioned.. " this time we must go kintamani, ubud, tanah lot etc etc.. I wanna see something different besides just relaxing.. remember what happened last time? " yeah, I did... we both fell asleep by the pool and we woke up.. all 'burnt'..!!

I sooo can't wait for the getaway... Like I've said.. It's the 3rd time but it sure feels like the 1st!
