The Millionaire & The BROKE-N Back from BATAM

I've tonnes of photos to upload for my Batam trip yesterday but I simply don't have the time to do it. When I do have the time, the lappie is not in my favour so I guess I'll start part by part. For now, I wanna share the picture of the clouds I took on my way to Batam. (Don't mind the man.. I had no idea who he was, but i think he enjoyed to be pictured in this photo.. He simply wouldn't go away..) haiz.. but of course, the picture was still beautiful.. with or without him in it.

Breathtaking? Scenic? Scary?
These dark clouds met us when we nearly arrived in Batam island.
I was expecting the weather because it had rained throughout the week but the good news was, once we stepped out from the ferry, the rain stopped!
God IS Great, yeah?

Can you see the formation of the clouds?
Don't you think the sea looked rough?
I would definitely be seasick if I was to be confined to my seat.
Lucky me, I spent half the journey, admiring God's creation.
And I LOVE IT!

Oh, another fact that I love abt Batam, or Indonesia rather, is the currency.
Currently, for every $1 SGD you'll get 7600 Indonesian ruppiah.
We changed $100 dollars.. so we were practically MILLIONAIRES.. but once back
in Singapore, it's back to reality..
BACK TO BE BROKE! LoL!

So what did I buy..?
See... oooh.. I boought 'that' bag.. and another of 'that' pouch.
Hub bought a watch.
Daniyal got a Superman T-shirt.
Breadtalk's Chicken Floss. Quantity? Will blog abt that later.
1 Lapis Prune..Will go into details later.
1 carton (40pieces) of INDOMIE Maggi Goreng @$6/per carton
2 packets of Sanitary Napkin.. Kotex and Laurier Overnight wings @ $1.30 each pack.
My AVOCADO lulur @$2.00 (Big Tub)
2 deodorants @50cents each.
A&W meal set with Coke Float @$5.52 dollar.
Mangoes @ $6.52 for 3kg (approx 7 pieces of BIG SWEET N RIPE Mangoes)
some keropok.

That's all, I guess!

I would have bought more stuffs IF i have MORE hands to carry for me.
He he!

Let's move on to Breadtalk.
Or, shall I let the pictures do the talking?

70,000 Rupiah for... 10 pieces of Chicken Floss.. how much is that in SGD?

Go, figure!

I shall stop here for now... Will be back with more posts on my BATAM trip with Hub and colleagues...
