I want Ball, Mama..

Didn't I say these few entries will be all about Daniyal's upcoming Birthday celebration. Let me just share a few memories I had with the preparations and it certainly ain't easy when it comes to cake choosing cos my lil boy seems to be very decisive BUT me? I'm not sure.. hehe..

I was browsing online for an appropriate cake (with an appropriate price definitely).. So I was at Prima Deli Website.. and surfing together with Daniyal.. We were happily and merrily browsing each pages until we came onto this page..

Daniyal: Mama.. I want that.. That cake!

Me: Where? Which one?

Daniyal: The ball mama...

Me: I see no balls here..

Daniyal: There...! (He pointed to the screen..)

Me: Oooh!!

So he wanted that.. But of course I didn't agree to it immediately.. So I told him..

Me: OK! Let's drive down to Punggol Plaza (PP) now..

Daniyal: Papa??!

Me: OK! We wait for Papa..

So we made our way down to PP and headed straight to Prima Deli.. At this time, Daniyal was smiling ear to ear.. I said I wasn't convinced right? Even though I know exactly what he wanted I still want to see the cakes album..

Me: Daniyal.. this cake's nice.. very simple..

Daniyal: No mama.. No ball..

Me: Ok.. What abt this??!

Daniyal: No mama.. No ball..

My 3rd selection..

Me: Haaaa!!! This one... (Barney cake!)..

Daniyal: I said NO BALL MAMA! ( He shouted and almost everyone in Prima Deli looked at us and laughed )

Me: Ok Ok.. we get the ball... How big is it eh??

Staff: How BIG u want...??

Daniyal heard the staff said " how Big u WANT " and he replied to the staff, sadly..

Daniyal: I want ball...

LOL!!! That's how baaaad he wants a soccer ball cake for his birthday... So yeah, we made our order and it cost me..??

A whopping $116.40 for a 3KG cake.. of soccer field, the men and the BALL.. $ $ FLY FLY!!! LOL!!

Didn't I say Hub was with us? And yet, he remained silent all the while.. well, that's just him.. He doesnt want to intrude into a mother-son affairs.. LOL!!
