and here I am rotting away in the office instead of being out with him on this special day.. how sad.. but it okay dear darling boy, I'll make it up to you.. tomorrow I'll be giving you a surprise party at the childcare centre.. and I hope it'll bring a BIG smile to that chubby face of yours..


This morning, when I woke up I went near him and sang the birthday song to him.. although he was fast asleep, I was 'shiok sendiri' singing away.. LOL! I hope he heard me.. :) In the MRT today I texted hubby..


Me: Daniyal turns 3 today.. how time flies.. can we don't make him grow up fast?
Hub: Yeah.. How I wish I too can turn the time back when he was 6-8 months.. that was the best moments..
Me: So now not best lar eh??
Hub: Best... kalau u give me another one soon, LAGI BEST!


& the sms-es stopped there.. don't know what to reply.. LOL..


I gave birth to Daniyal nearing midnite on 24th Jul 2005.. It was a long long labour without epidural.. only pethidine.. I sooo badly wanted pethidine because I wanted to sleep.. and the entonox (if i spelled correctly) wasn't working for me.. I was at East Shore from 4am and Dr Aziz came to burst the water bag at 8am in the morning.. before he left for the clinic, he told me.. "stay in bed and all the best".. LOL.. 12noon and there wasn't any signs of giving birth.. I needed to conserve my energy.. and when the nurses kept coming asking if I needed epidural.. I got fed up so instead I asked for pethidine.. 5 mins after administering the pethidine, I was in lala land.. LOL.. i dozed off.. when Dr Aziz came around 2-3pm I wasn't even aware that he was checking my cervix.. at 6pm.. when I woke up, and Dr Aziz came by to check he said..


"OK.. u can opt for normal delivery.. normal eh.. doesnt mean not assisted.. it depends on your 'performance'.."


8pm... very very bad excruciating pain..


9pm.. Darn!!!!!!!!!!! at that time, I swore ENTONOX was my best friend.. everytime the contractions came, I searched for Entonox... like gila lor!!


10pm.. I told the nurses.. I was about to give birth anytime.... and told them to call Dr Aziz.. but heck! they didn't.. (at this time, my Hub was enjoying the P Ramlee IBU MERTUAKU show on TV1).. suke??


Ard 11.25pm.. Dr Aziz came... he said.. "Eh.. cerita Ibu Mertuaku??" when I was whining and in pain.. then he asked again.. "Shila...?? Sakit??" itu time mcm nak rejam je apape barang kat situ... sib baik iman kuat...


Few minutes later, Nordaniyal Adam was born..


Hehehehe... and now... I think it was a pleasurable pain.. but of course when I have my second one.., hm.. can i choose not to induce?? Hehehehe... menyiksa satu badan....


There... I think I did d same entry last year on Daniyal's birthday and here I am again writing the same thing... guess, I'll never get bored of the experience.. hhehehe..
