Last Friday I went to Carousel with Mom and Shasha.. for a high tea.. hm.. the spread was va va voom and I ate a lot.. there was popiah basah, sushi, chocolate fondue and many many more. It was crowded as usual but lucky we made reservations and in no time, sat down to enjoy our high tea, at 3.30pm exactly.. kiasu singaporeans? Yes, we are! :P
This was on my birthday on Friday.. It was a treat from dear mom and as Hub was busy and we purposely put Daniyal in school so we can get to enjoy all the food without having to chase Daniyal around *wink*On Saturday night it was Umar's 1st birthday and it was held at Aloha Loyang.. It has been sometime since I last meet up with all the ex colleagues from IPTO and by being there with them last Saturday really reminisced those times we had together in 1998 onwards.. We were all still singles then but now all of us are married and with kid(s).. How times flies!!! The only person who changed a lot was..... ME!!!! I think i grew 3 times larger compared to the rest!.. aiyah.. sian ah.. but never mind.. :))

Then on Sunday, we welcomed Qu Sycca to the world!!!
Playing parents.. duhh! (bapak) muke stressed!!! LOL!!
Qu Sycca is my Aunt's 2nd daughter. Why Qu Sycca? Seriously, I don't know. Their first daughter was named Qu Synna.. How she got that name? According to my aunt, she was in her final trimester and was very very stressed on choosing names. So she de-stressed by watching Hindustan movies on DVD and chanced upon Kareena Kapoor whose character name was.. U guessed it.. Qusynna.. LOL! kelakar ke ape??? However, I think the name and how its spelt is unique in its own way..
Qu Synna & Qu Sycca two lovely siblings... and special in their own ways.. :))
