Canon Ixus Training

I went to Canon Digital Camera Training with Ima and Bariah after work last Thursday. We had bought Canon Ixus models camera around the same time with Ima purchasing Ixus 85IS first, followed by my Ixus 90IS for me and Bariah.. Since it was a FREE lesson we thought we should give it a GO! despite our busy schedule at work.. Whenever the 3 of us got together, there were never a moment of silence.. The "kecoh-ness" started almost instantly from Buona Vista and it didn't stop even when we were in the training class.. Lance, the instructor, caught us camwhoring so many times during his class but he simply told us to ENJOY! =))

Ima trying on the functions as Lance went ahead with his training. For the first 30mins, I was practically sleeping away because all the basic functions that he went through, were not ALIEN to me at all for someone who bring her camera everyday, everywhere! hee hee...

And so the camwhoring started. This time was when Lance went through the effect of 'lighter skin tones' especially useful for me whose skin is damn acne-prone.. chia-latt!! lol!

Overall, the 2 hour of basic training is NOT ENOUGH! However, I have now learnt to use more of my manual functions rather than just Auto mode all the way. In fact, for a lazy me whose hands on are waaay better than reading the manual book, I find this training is beneficial because I have learnt where ALL MY HIDDEN FUNCTIONS are which are a teeny weeny bit similar to my sis's EOS.. Hm.. and I can't wait to snap more and more pics, come July 2009!

On a side note, Shima... I'm waiting for the tripod stand! It'll make a great birthday prezzie for me.. LOL!
